ZK Hack isn't a beginner Hackathon but if you are ready to try out new zkDSLs you are very welcome - if you aren't sure you would have the coding skills, have a look at our videos from our online events here!
HOW TO JOIN?

You can hack alone or with a team.
TEAM FORMATION Questions:
- I don't know anyone working/building in zk. If I apply will I hack alone or will I be assigned to some team or other people?
- You can either hack alone or join a team at the event, some hackers form teams there and others come ready as a team. Team formation will take place after the dinner on Friday.
- Joining a team in Devfolio:
- In order to join a team you should get a team code from the team admin. Contact the team you want to work with. You may need to ‘leave a team’ first.
- I wasn’t accepted! (pick most appropriate information)
- This event is engineering / developer-focused rather than being a ZK research event, we are looking for an active GitHub account to be provided with each application. Please could you share yours? Please can you also share links to the ZK projects you are working on as these have been a key factor in all hacker applications. If you can provide both of these things we will happily review your application
- We understand your disappointment and encourage you to keep learning and working on cryptography-related projects as you’re probably currently doing already. We organize several online and IRL events every year (hackathons, puzzles, conference…) so be sure to keep an eye on our socials for the next ones!

- **What are the opening hours of ZK Hack?
- Doors on Friday open at 2 p.m. and close at 11 p.m.
- Our venue will be open during Saturday’s night till the end of hackathon
- When does the ZK Hack start?
- Event starts on Friday May 17th around 2pm and runs until May 19th afternoon max 6p.m.
- Are any travel expenses paid for international travelers?
- The tickets are free and currently there are no compensation offers available. (Internal information only: sometimes sponsors offer travel bounties but none currently)
